A Thought for Monday

Grover Cleveland (1837-1908) was the only man to serve non-consecutive terms as President of the United States. This point from his message to Congress in March of 1886 would sound just as pertinent were it uttered by President Obama today:

"He mocks the people who proposes that
the Government shall protect the rich and
they in turn will care for the laboring poor."
