Quote of the Day

Here are some words written by Charles Darwin (1809-1882) almost 140 years ago. For reason I find rather obscure, he remains a controversial figure even now, but I bet his critics would agree with this sentiment:

"I fully subscribe to the judgement of those writers
who maintain that of all the differences between
man and the lower animals, the moral sense of
conscience is by far the most important.... It is
the most noble of all the attributes of man."
