I couldn't find any good Mother's Day themed comics to post, so I decided to put up a few examples of my Mom's favorite strip from when she was a kid (at least, that's what she told me).
These examples of Prince Valiant by Hal Foster are all from teh first year the strip was printed back in 1937. I'm pretty sure the above strip is actually the first appearance of Val himself, as the first couple of weeks were taken up with background story. So Mom, and everybody else, I hope you like these.
