It seems the custom in Europe, whenever some kind of repairs or reconstruction is being done on old landmarks, to put us a covering that shows a picture of how the landmark will look when finished. That's the story on those pictures of statues on the bridge above.
More statues. If I'm not mistaken, the one around which you see a cluster of people is the one that one rubs for good luck that I mentioned in a previous post.
Ibelieve that tower is featured in a key scene in the movie
The Brothers Bloom, which is worth checking out if you haven't seen it (it contributed to my desire to see Prague).
That's St. Vitus Cathedral looming up over the bridge above.
Anotehr angle on the bridge tower. You've got to admit, Prague is a very photogenic city-- just imagine how great these would look if I had a little more skill as a photographer.
