Here's a cool scene from the classic Howard Hawks motion picture Ball of Fire (1941). Gary Cooper plays a professor collecting examples of modern slang for an encyclopedia; Barbara Stanwyck is the girl singer who volunteers to help. In this scene however, the real stars are Gene Krupa and his band (including Roy Eldridge on trumpet). If you get the chance, check out the rest of the flick:
