Here is a clip of one of the great American bands of the past thirty years, who just keep cranking out great music, some pretty traditional and some quite experimental. This song is off, if I recall correctly, their second full-length album and represents more of their traditional side:

John, I remember you taking me and I think Theresa to see these guys once when they performed at the "Tralf", I think that is the correct name, it was a little nightclub in Buffalo and it was I believe one of the first concerts I attended so to speak.

Yup, I remember that-- and yes it is the Tralf. I also remember going to see them play in Rochester with, I believe, U2-- did you go that time too? The Tralf is still there and running by the way; I saw Ted Leo & the Pharmacists there this past summer. Still a really nice venue.

I forgot it was at the Tralf but I remember seeing them too. I also remember the U2 show at the old stadium in Rochester. That was really great! Although I don't remember Los Lobos from that time, but that may be because I was so in love with U2 nothing else mattered.
