Quotation for Tuesday

Albert Szent-Gyorgyi (1893-1986) was an American biochemist who won the Nobel Prize in 1937. In other words he was a pretty smart guy, further evidence of which can be found in the following statement:

"It is sad that man is not intelligent enough
to solve problems without killing.... Man is not
a blood-thirsty animal, and war is only due to the
greed and lust for power of relatively small groups,
the conspiracy of the few against the many."
