I mentioned in an earlier post that I tried the deep fried Oreos at the Allentown Art Festival yesterday. Actually, that resulted from something like a dare-- Tom, Ben and I were all curious and decided that if one of us tried them, we'd all try them. So Ben placed the order, and after a brief wait, we dug in. The verdict: pretty nasty stuff. They are in that category of foods that taste pretty good on the first bite, but rather quickly lose their appeal, as they are just too sweet. But somebody must like them. In fact, I found this video at YouTube, which, if anything, makes them appear even less appetizing. But then, maybe some of you have more of a sweet tooth than I do:
