I thought I would share a couple of photos I found taken during Mom and Dad's honeymoon, part of which found them in Gettysburg. First, here's one of Mom:

We did have a lovely trip. Dad had so much fun that (though he had never taken a vacation before) he promised me when we got home that we would definitely have a real two week vacation every year after that - and so we did.
Even when there was no money - we went off and visited cousins, aunts and uncles....we knew where all the freebies were. Mom
