A few days ago I posted a video of the song "Master Jack," and noted it was one of the few rock songs my Dad liked. In the comments to that post, my sisters Theresa and Liz both remembered he was also a fan of the Katrina & the Waves song, "Walking on Sunshine." I can't embed the video for that song here, but you can find it at this site. However, it did remind me of another tune he liked, which he was amazed to learn (from me) was written by Paul McCartney (though it turned out I was wrong; McCartney produced Mary Hopkin's recording, but the words were actually written by someone else, and set to a melody from an old Russian folk song).
