British Battle of the Bands, Empire Bracket

Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band

Here's the last of the four brackets, matching bands in what I'm calling the Empire group. This contest, to determine the best British (and Commonwealth) band between 1960 and 1974, will play out on my radion show Dr. John's Record Shelf starting this fall. You can see the other brackets here, here, and here. The lineup is arranged so that the winner of the first pair will meet the winner of the second pair in Round 2, the third will meet the fourth, etc. Seedings appear in parentheses after the band name (and are roughly based on a combination of popularity, critical acclaim and influence):

"Whole Lotta Love," Led Zeppelin (1) vs,
"I Am the Urban Spaceman," Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band (16)

"Time of the Season," The Zombies (8) vs.
"Layla," Derek & the Dominoes (9)

"Talk to You," Small Faces (5) vs.
"Lucky Man," Emerson, Lake & Palmer (12)

"Glad All Over," Dave Clark Five (4) vs.
"How Do You Do It?" Gerry & the Pacemakers (13)

"Living in the Past," Jethro Tull (6) vs.
"The Rocker," Thin Lizzy (11)

"Lonely Days," Bee Gees (3) vs.
"A Groovy Kind of Love," The Mindbenders (14)

"Baby Blue," Badfinger (7) vs.
"In the Court of the Crimson King," King Crimson (10)

"You Really Got Me," The Kinks (2) vs.
"How Does It Feel to Feel," The Creation (15)

I'm open to comments on the above, though I likely won't be making any changes at this point. I'm still open to volunteers who want to be judges-- just let me know in the comments.
