Saturday Morning Cartoon

I remember back in the sixties how there was, among kids my age, a kind of revival of old time movie monsters like Dracula, the Wolfman, etc. No doubt this was fed in part by endless replays of the old movies on TV, but there were also magazines and models too that were really popular. I suspect the cartoon Frankenstein Jr. was an attempt to cash in on that fad (kind of combining it with the superhero boom that folowed the Batman TV show, and the ascendence of Marvel comics). Here's an example to show you what I mean:
