Pretty Song

Here's a recent version of a classic folk song from the sixties. Eric Andersen, who wrote the tune and performs it here, hails from Western New York, like me, but I think I'd like this song even if there wasn't that sort of local connection. Andersen's voice isn't as smooth or strong as it was forty years ago when he first recorded this song (how could it be), but the years have added a bit of poignancy, I think. Check it out:
