Thought for the Day

John Hay (1838-1905) started his political career as Abraham Lincoln's secretary and later served in a number of capacities including Secretary of State. Here's something he said that still makes a lot of sense:

"True luck consists not in holding the best
of the cards at the table; luckiest is he who
knows just when to rise and go home."
