For all the anthropomorphic animals populating the cartoon universe, the only horse I remember seeing was Quick Draw McGraw (which made sense since this was a western spoof). Along with his trusty sidekick Babalouie, Quick Draw fought the good fight, and never more entertainingly than when he donned the mask and guitar of El Kabong! Here's an episode where he did exactly that:
