It's been awhile since I posted a video of Doug Sahm and the boys. This is kind of cool (apparently from the TV show Playboy After Dark), with the audience putting on almost as interesting a show as the band. "Mendocino" was the last hit by the Sir Douglas Quintet, but their career would nonetheless last another thirty years, and they never stopped making music that was both soulful and fun:
