In an earlier post I made mention of the Farm Securities Administration's photography work during the Great Depression. The Library of Congress web-site has a nice exhibit up featuring the work of a number of photographers who worked on that project, including Walker Evans (who snapped the shot above), Dorothea Lange, Arthur Rothstein, and Gordon Parks. Follow the link and it will offer a menu of names that in turn will connect you to some of the finest social commentary in pictures you'll ever see.
