I think this is my favorite song by 10,000 Maniacs (who hail from Jamestown, NY, hometown of Lucille Ball-- make of that what you will). I guess Natalie Merchant has a new album out that's getting some good notices; I guess I'll have to look it up. In the meantime, enjoy this old* song:
