Speaking of pianos (as I was in the previous post), here's one of the great keyboard masters of the twentieth century, Thelonious Monk with his band featuring Charlie Rouse on tenor sax, Larry Gales on bass, and Ben Riley on drums. Especially watch Monk's technique-- the guy really hammers the keys. Great stuff:
