Dresden is an old German city that was largely destroyed during World War II. To the town's credit, when they rebuilt they sought to retain the historic styles of architecture. So here are three photos I took on my visit there last Spring, but with a sepia tone added to give them even more of a historical air.
It's easy to imagine that this view of the riverside looks much the same as it did a hundred years ago, though that probably isn't literally the case.
This photo, of a building I cannot recall the name or function of, is a bit blurred, which doesn't just make it appear old-fashioned, but also a little spooky, I think.
