Okay, last week I posted some examples of the strip Ella Cinders, because I thought I remembered it was one of my Mom's favorites as a kid (last week of course was Mother;s Day). In a comment, she mentioned a couple of others she liked, including Boots, of which you see several examples here from 1935. I'm still hunting for some Etta Kett (maybe next week).
