We finally got our first snow in Dillon, and I imagine that we'll have it for quite awhile, as the temperatures have dropped below zero for the past few days. Here's a picture of the snow-covered pine trees on the University of Montana western campus (Basically the view from my office window):
It's definitely starting to feel a little Christmasy around here.

We've also gotten our first snow over here. I don't know about the family in Lake Tapps or Kent, but here in Tacoma there was bout half an inch that was then trampled on by all the students and froze over. It was an interesting feat walking to turn in my final paper. What normally would have taken me about 2 minutes took me about 5 with the ice. I think the temperature is around 30 or so. Not as cold as you, but it certainly warrants the heat being turned up in our room :)

What's going on here ? ...It's chilly here but no snow. We had a thunder storm a day or so ago. And I live in snowy, blowy, Buffalo.

Yep it feels just like being back in Buffalo. Tomorrow the children are hoping for more snow, Sara has been going out and eating cupfuls of the stuff.

I'm surprised that the snow doesn't really bother me too much, but the tempertures here have been sub-zero for most of the past four days. I like to walk everywhere, but this morning I had to drive to school, not because it was too cold, but because I was worried that if I didn't start and run my car a little the cold would kill the battery. The engine wasn't too happy to be awoken from its slumber, but at least now I'm reasonably confident it will get me to the airport on Thursday.
