Friday Family Blogging
As mentioned here, I've started digitizing older photos taken on film (remember film? can you even still buy it anymore?). So, here's one of Marenka that must go back at least ten years:

You have me on this one. No clue- we have been to so many museums, monuments, whatever, that this could be anywhere. Obviously this would be narrowed down to someplace we went with you but between Buffalo, Tonawanda, Seattle, Tacoma, and all points around those cities, I could not even begin to guess.

I forgot to mention that with Miss M almost 20 this year this picture would have been taken in excess of 15 years ago.

We had gone that day down to Olympia and visited the capitol and a couple museums and a wonderful used book store. We girls went to a fabulous fabric store and I bought yards and yards of fabric. After we met up with you boys, we went to a Pizza place for supper. Gosh - we sure had fun that day! Mom
Mom's right, it was taken in Olympia (I'm pretty sure at the capital building). But I'm sure it isn't as long as fifteen years ago. It's either from the summer of 1996 or 1998, probably the former.

In 1998 Marenka was 10 years old - and wearing glasses. In 1996 Marenka had short hair and no bangs. I have a series of photos taken from this time (I looked through all my old photos) and Mom is right it was taken in Olympia but the year I have is 1994 (15 years ago). She is wearing a t-shirt she got in a program before Kindergarten (which she started that fall). Don't you argue with a mom and her daughter's age (lol).

I bow to your expertise-- I thought it was one of the later dates, because I remember being in Seattle in '96 and '98 at the same time as Mom and Dad. I forgot about the earlier trip.
