Good Article

I link to Matt Taibbi periodically on this blog, because I really consider him to be a cut above the rest of the political pundits out there-- partly because he obviously researches his stories, partly because he seems not to have any partisan ax to grind (which isn't the same thing as saying he's entirely unbiased, just that his biases seem to come from his own consideration and aren't dictated by some group or party), and partly because I think he has a lively writing style. All of that is evident in this piece on the media context for the shootings in Arizona over the weekend. I think his analysis is right-on, and his mild mea culpa is genuine. I encourage you to read it and give a little thought to what it says.
