These three pictures are from my visit to Dresden last March. It's a beautiful old city, though most of these buildings are actually recreations (at least in part) following the destruction of World War II.
These are all public buildings housing government or cultural institutions in the city. I'd love to visit sometime in the summer when I imagine big crowds in the wide open squares (it was kind of rainy the day we were there).
I've added some sepia tones to these pictures to enhance the old-timey feel-- but this actually reflects how I recall Dresden in my memory.
