Saturday's Quote

One of my favorite novelists is the Chilean Roberto Bolano (1953-2003). This line will give you some idea of what makes his work so compelling, but certainly has broader implications than that:

"But every single damn thing matters!
Only we don't realize. We just tell ourselves
that art runs on one track and life, our lives,
on another, and we don't realize that's a lie."
