The Easybeats were probably the most successful Australian export to the States back in the sixties just before the Bee Gees came along. They were certainly good enough to move up in teh Battle of the Bands unfolding on Dr. John's Record Shelf, riding this, their biggest hit, into the second round (by the way, one of the guitarists is the older sibling AC/DC's Young brothers):
