A Thought for Tuesday

The author Edward Everett Hale (1822-1909), best known for his story "The Man Without a Country," was born on this date, so I thought it worthwhile to share one of his well-known sayings:

"I am only one; but still I am one. I cannot do everything,
but still I can do something. And because I cannot do
everything, I will not refuse to do the something I can do."
