More Friday Family Blogging
I really like this picture of my Gramma surrounded by my four sisters, which is one of the many old slides I converted to digital format this past summer. This was shot on our back porch during the period when, I think, the kitchen was being remodeled-- so the porch was our makeshift kitchen/dining room. Anyone else remember that?

Ahh yes! I'll never forget that summer. The trick was trying to feed everybody without a kitchen.
But I just loved the new kitchen when it was all over. Your Dad did all the work and it seemed to take forever. However it was worth the wait, wasn't it??? Mom
I have some vague memories about the back porch dining room. I also really liked that new kitchen. That "Moroccan" floor and the golden curtains. It was a very warm place in more than ones sense.
I remember to stove/oven in the laundry room and having to do dishes in the stationary sinks in the basement. I couldn't wait to get that kitchen done. Liz looks so much like Sharon in this picture.
