Actually, this is a "classic" Top Five from Dr. John's Record Shelf back in January of 2008. This week's edition kind of laid an egg, so it didn't seem worth sharing. This one has a nice nostalgic edge; plus, it provides a bit of fodder for those who may want to engage in some amateur psychoanalysis of co-host Art Vandalay:

I still have a large box of hundreds of broken, peeled crayons that you children used and now the grand children use to make me pictures which I post on the refrigerator. Oh... if only you all had kept them nice and orderly in the box....Mom
