Here's a video of the song that introduced me (and I suppose a lot of other folks) to Dwight Yoakam back in the eighties. It's a remake of an old Johnny Horton tune, and Yoakam's introduction talks about how he was inspired by the music he grew up listening to on the radio. Good stuff:
