In case you got the idea from the previous post that my Grampa was naturally headless, this should clarify that he was not. That's Gramma behind him (long before she was a Gramma).

This picture must have been taken by my brother, Charles, shortly after we bought that old house, in 1936 or '37. There were a lot of changes over the next 10 years. I remember a trellis around that back porch, with morning glories climbing all over it. It was a lovely retreat on a hot summer's day....Mom
