Here's something to keep in mind the next time you hear politicians or pundits yelling at each other. It's a line from teh great British statesman William Gladstone (1809-1898):

"Men are apt to mistake the strength
of their feeling for the strength of their
argument. The heated mind resents the
chill touch and relentless scrutiny of logic."
