If, like me, you are a fan of classic rock and roll radio, you might want to check out the sites
Airchexx.com and
Rock Radio Scrapbook. They are repositories for recordings of disk jockeys spanning the whole rock era, and most of the country as well as Canada. Depending on the site, you can search by era, region or personality (I highly recommend checking out the listings for Jackson Armstrong-- that's him in the picture-- who I listened to on WKBW in Buffalo, but who worked almost everywhere at one time or another). There are similar sites out there with more listings, but these are the two I've found where it's free to listen, so check them out.
