A Sunday Quote

Here's a good thought from the noted iconoclast Henry David Thoreau (1817-1862), something to keep in mind as I plow through the books I got for Christmas:

"A truly good book teaches me better than to
read it. I must soon lay it down, and commence
living on its hint. What I began by reading,
I must finish by acting."
