Here's a clip of Oscar Peterson (piano) and Ben Webster (sax) swinging with a small combo on the Webster composition "Poutin'." Webster was one of the guys who defined the role of tenor sax in a big band context (played for many years with the likes of Bennie Moten, Count Basie, and Duke Ellington), while Peterson was more closely associated with a small group sound (especially trios). The combination works awfully well here:
