
Here's a shot of Nik in front of one of the very few (thankfully) Chihuly pieces on display at the Corning Museum of Glass. I like Chihuly's stuff well enough, but at times he seems to be so ubiquitous as to seem the only important artist working in glass today. By way of example, here's a piece I liked by an Italian artist named Lino Tagliapietra:

The green sculpture in the lobby I thought was a bit wild but I really liked the golden swirl of the Italian artist. Mom
