The weather around here has been unseasonably mild, which is a great excuse to get outside and take some pictures. These shots are from a stroll taken a couple of days ago with Sara and Ben at a place called Stiglmeier Park in Cheektowaga.
We were hoping to see some deer, which on past visits were all over this place. But no such luck this time. So my goal was to try and create some interesting compositions out of the trees and streams.
Like the pictures from the beach a few days ago, I'll probably go back and try to punch these up a bit through editing, but I think the untouched versions look pretty good. They certainly give you an idea of what it was like walking around the woods that day.
Later in the day, it finally started to snow, and so my next set of pictures will likely feature some of the white stuff (assuming the temperature doesn't start climbing again).
