Saturday's Quotation

T.E. Lawrence was a man of the world, a diplomat and a scholar, who contributed much to the West's understanding of the Middle East (not that his views necessarily were taken seriously, more's the pity). Here's something he wrote in Seven Pillars of Wisdom from 1926:

"All men dream; but not equally. Those who dream
by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake
in the day to find it was vanity; but dreamers of the
day are dangerous men, for they may act their
dream with open eyes, to make it possible."
