The following snippet from eminent poet T.S. Eliot (called "Tom" by Groucho Marx in the letters they exchanged) seemed apt in light of my own recent travels:

"We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time."
