Today's Great Thought

I don't know anything about the Swiss philosopher Henri Frederic Amiel (1821-1881), except that I fully agree with this statement, which is as true today as when he wrote it in 1856:

"Truth is not only violated by falsehood;
it may be outraged by silence."
